Entrepreneurial: How do you follow up your best month ever?

Hello My Charmed Ones and Happy October!

If you have been following along with this Entrepreneurial blog post series for a few months, you know that I have been experiencing a series of break-throughs with my mindset, my business and my content since lockdown started. So, it shouldn’t really be a surprise to anyone that September was my BEST MONTH EVER for my business so far.

Not only was September my personal best month of sales, it also now holds the record for my top three individual days of earning ever in the history of my shop which opened in 2014.

Because of this massive influx of abundance, I was able to hit a bunch of goals I had set for myself for the year, and unsurprisingly, these goals were things I had been manifesting on intentionally through my daily manifestation journaling practice.

I did a significant amount of mindset work leading into September and, well, it worked! I was able to attract an amount of money I have never reached before in my business, with what truly felt like a fraction of the effort I have put into previous months, campaigns or launches.

I have always believed that manifestation and law of attraction worked. I have played with it for years and years, but September truly proved to me that my reality and my level of abundance was completely under my control.

So, of course, I am now left wondering…

How do you follow up your best month ever?

Clearly, I have hit a new level, I tapped into a new high for myself and my business and frankly, I do not want it to end. I desire more, I know I deserve more, I know I am ready for more, I am ready to show up and do the work to receive more again in October.

I am still playing with all this but I want to teach you how to do this too. I want to go deeper on this idea of mindset and manifestation with you. Either for your business or your productivity in general, this is a tool and a skill everyone should understand how to use.

We have three months left in 2020, and I know many of us just want to throw in the towel for this year, but there is still so much time for us to do the deeply important work of breaking down our mental barriers, getting clear on what it is we desire and taking inspired action on plans to change the trajectory of our life and year.

Look, I know many people are going to say 2020 was the worst year ever, and I certainly don’t blame them. But for me, it wasn’t the worst year. It was actually quite an amazing year for me. And I know if I could accomplish so much for myself in such a tough year, holy smokes I can do anything!

So this is what I want to do.

I want to have another live class with you this month.

I want to talk to you about how 2020 has been going and I want to hep you shift your mindset on your outlook for this year and I want to inspire you to take action on the life you want.

The Abundance I Manifested in September

I have so much to be grateful for this month.

I had an amazing launch and enrollment for the Empire Building Business Accelerator.

I hit multiple records in my business.

⚡️ Best sales month ever.

⚡️ 3 of my best sales days ever.

⚡️ I hit my savings goal for the year.

⚡️ I purchased a few celebratory items off my wishlist.

⚡️ I paid off the remainder of the loan on my vehicle 18 months early.

It has been an amazing month.

And the best part is… it was all so easy!

I know I’ve worked twice as hard for half the rewards before. I’m sure that’s a feeling you can relate to.

But for the past few weeks and months I’ve been stepping up my manifestation game.

I’ve been journaling more of my limiting beliefs out, I’ve been writing the rules for how my life and business get to work, and I’ve been leaning into the good happy feelings more and more.

I always believed manifestation worked but this month blew me away with how much I was able to shift and how much I was able to achieve in such a short period of time.

So, now I’m deciding what else I get to do and have next month?!

If you have questions about manifestation and want some good resources, I will tell you that for the 6-8 weeks before my launch, I was doing some serious manifestation work, journaling my desires, identifying my limiting beliefs and overcoming them with positive evidence and affirmations.

Entrepreneurial: Making the Executive Decision to Choose Joy

Welcome to June 2020 My Charmed Ones!

I sincerely hope you and yours are doing well, staying safe, healthy and productive at home. As you may already know from my May #ICYMI post, the past month was something of a mental struggle for me social distancing for so long in this remarkable time we are living in. This is the thing though, I have gone through so many dark periods in my past that I know how important it is to first honor the way I am feeling in the moment, but also not to let myself succumb to it for too long. So yes, I was struggling this month, but I had to just let those feelings out once and for all and then force myself back into a positive mindset. One thing I know can happen to me when I go through a rough patch is that if I don’t actively fight it, I can stay in that sad mindset for way too long. It’s certainly not easy for me to shift out of that place, but I have an arsenal of mindset shifting tools that I use to help me, and if I don’t execute on them, I know I can get stuck for a longer time than necessary. It all starts for me with making the executive decision that I’m not going to allow myself to stay in that mindset, especially not without a fight!

So, what are those tools? How do I dig myself out of a dark place when I’ve fallen into one? Here are some strategies and tools I use.

Gratitude: I think gratitude is one of the most underrated and glossed over topics when it comes to managing your mindset. It’s easy to take for granted, that’s for sure, but no matter what is going on in your life at any given moment, each of us has dozens, hundreds maybe even thousands of things we can be grateful for if we choose to tap into that energy. It is, of course, a choice to feel grateful, and I think one of the problems around the idea of gratitude is that we hear about it so often or we can rattle off a quick default list of things to be grateful for, but we fail to tap into the feeling of gratitude when we do so. I could make a list of a hundred things I am grateful for right now, but just approaching that task as a catalog won’t shift my mindset. Instead I need to stop and focus on each gratitude item and think about how that item functions in my life and what my life would be without it. It’s certainly true that we often don’t appreciate things until they are gone, and to evoke a true emotional response from myself while making a gratitude list, this is a prompt I often use to help me really feel the energy of gratitude and experience the benefits a gratitude practice has to offer.

Rampage Meditation: There is a subgroup of meditations out there that are known as “rampages.” Go ahead, type Rampage Meditation into the YouTube search bar and you will see what I am talking about. This is a specific style of meditation that has grown in popularity over the past few years, usually, but not always associated with Abraham Hicks and Law of Attraction, but I find that this type of meditation is a really great tool to use to shift my energy. Essentially, this meditation type is a guided meditation where someone is feeding you prompts, affirmations and insight intended to help you shift your dominant emotional energy (aka your vibration) upwards to gratitude, love, happiness, joy, etc! If you think about your emotions as a sliding scale where sadness, depression, anger, etc are at the bottom and happiness, joy, contentment are at the top, the point of these guided meditations is to wind your energy up towards the more positive feelings on the scale. When I am particularly sad, this type of meditation often works the best for me. Because just sitting and meditating on my own is something I can’t do easily or effectively. But these rampage meditations give me the thoughts to think and help encourage me.

Journaling: Whenever I am feeling bad about something in my life or feeling like things aren’t going the way I want them to, journaling helps me so much to identify my limiting beliefs and overcome them logically and reasonably. Journaling is often a tool and strategy I use to self-coach or give myself a mock-therapy session. Now, if you have never done any sort of coaching or therapy, let me walk you through my general process for how I journal out my feelings. First, I always identify what I am feeling and the reasons why I believe I am feeling the way I am feeling. I know that for myself, there is usually some issue in my life that is not going the way I want it to that ends up causing my emotional distress. In the case of how I’ve been feeling recently in lockdown, I know the problem for me is that I start feeling powerless that I cannot just do whatever I want right now. So I start with that situation and feeling and I rant it out to my journal. I complain it all out to my journal until I feel like I’ve exhausted my feelings on the matter and laid them all out. Then, I play the role of coach or therapist for myself and force myself to recognize logical reasons why whatever I am complaining about is not true. For example, even though I can’t go out and do all the things I want to do right now, there are still plenty of things I can do and want to do, and it’s important for me to identify those things and why those are very important for me to do if I want to adjust this feeling. Then the final thing I like to do in this journaling session is make a plan for moving forward. Essentially I ask myself what I am going to do moving forward from this journaling session in a way that combats the negative emotions I was experiencing to begin with. I might list out steps, brainstorm ideas, or make a to do list, but I always like to end these journaling sessions with a plan for self-management to help me avoid the trigger again. Then I have this list or this plan to come back to if and when those feelings creep up at me again, which they do- but having the plan acts as a sort of defense for me. Like “no, we are not going to go down this road again, you already solved this problem, here is the plan, focus on the plan.” And honestly, this helps me a lot to break out of the negative emotional patterns and focus on establishing the positive emotional pattern instead.

So, that is what I do when I get into a low place, like I was in during May, and this is a strategy I am going to continue to focus on as I move into June. Because the trigger itself isn’t going away, I am still in isolation, so I need to stick to that plan to keep myself positive and execute regularly on those strategies that help me stay positive and motivated. This is my executive decision to choose joy and focus on that instead of letting negative patterns take over my mind and ultimately derail my life and happiness. But if it does happen again, and I do go dark again, it’s okay because I have these strategies to help pull me out and each time I get stronger and stronger. It’s progress not perfection we are aiming for here!

How was your May?

I have to admit, this month was something of a struggle for me. Being at home on lock down since my birthday in March, it’s been a mental battle staying productive and positive for so long in such unusual circumstances. So, if you have also been struggling, my heart goes out to you as well and just know you are not alone. So many people are struggling right now in so many different ways, but just know that your feelings and experience are valid and worth taking the time to acknowledge and understand.

Despite the mental anguish May brought to me, I have to admit, creating content for you was certainly a welcome outlet and reprieve from my own mind. This month I created 12 pieces of content for you that I hope you were able to enjoy and learn from, but if you missed something, don’t worry, I have catalogued it all for you here in this post for your quick reference.

My Upcoming Live Class Schedule

In case you didn’t know, for the past two Saturdays, I’ve been hosting live-streamed workshops on various business and personal development topics over on my Youtube channel. Initially, I started these workshops as a fun outlet and way for the community to come together during an uncertain time. With so many people stuck inside in their homes, either working remotely, or on furlough during this world-wide pandemic, I wanted to do my part in creating content that might be useful and inspiring. But now, with extensions on shelter in place guidelines reaching out to the end of April and likely facing additional extensions after that, I have decided to extend these workshops and make them a weekly fixture for the foreseeable future.

As you will notice from the titles, most of these topics are business related and that is entirely intentional. With so many people loosing their jobs or the security of a stable income, now is the time to put our creative ideas to work in the form of a business or side hustle. What better way to use this time stuck inside than by building income streams through the power of digital marketing systems.

I am so extremely lucky that this pandemic has not jeopardized my personal lifestyle or business, but then again, luck really had nothing to do with it, did it? I have been intentionally crafting a business based on multiple passive income streams for years now to fulfill my vision of having ultimate time and location freedom. Little did I know at the time that this business model I worked so diligently to establish would also protect my income and stability during a time of international crisis.

In fact, in the last month, as hundreds of thousands of U.S. citizens have filed for unemployment due to job changes from this pandemic, my income in the last month actually increased. I don’t say this to boast, but rather to highlight the value of entrepreneurship. Yes, we are living in uncertain times that most of the population of the world will economically struggle through, but that isn’t the only reality right now and there are steps you can take and income streams you can establish to protect yourself and your families stability through future crisis’ as well.

That is why I am committed to hosting these weekly classes and teaching valuable content I have never shared before- because I want to inspire and motivate you to get to work on your own business goals! The next two classes specifically are going to review essential business planning topics pivotal to the success and growth of businesses in online markets. And, it won’t be focused only on information and strategy- I’ll also be using these workshops as an opportunity to share valuable tools and resources that you can use to assist you in proper business planning processes.

Specifically, I am going to go in depth in walking you through inserts inside the CEO Strategy Planner. So, if you have not yet purchased your copy, I highly recommend making your purchase as soon as possible, and printing and binding your copy into the system of your choice before these classes begin.

For those of you who have already purchased, I hope you will join me for each of these upcoming classes and learn more about the essential business planning strategies illustrated through the inserts of the business planner! #ICYMI March 2020

We’ve now come to the end of March and I have to say- despite all the setbacks happening in the world right now, I’m feeling so positive and expansive as we move into April. Remember a few weeks ago when I told you about how my new intention was to create more content on my platforms? I am so proud of how much I have been creating and the flow I have found myself in again. Honestly, I haven’t felt this good about my creation process and this hopeful about where I am headed with my business in several years. I am seriously in the midsts of reviving my stagnant business as per the plan I had laid out at the start of March. 

I could not be happier about how this month has progressed, and so I want this to be a reminder for any of you out there who may be feeling down about the issues on the world stage, or maybe before all this you were questioning you purpose or direction. It’s okay to have those feelings and I think you should sit with them for a while and express them. You can’t get them out of your system unless you express them. But, once you have, you need to pull yourself out of your own funk. You need to start taking some action. You need to set intentions, you need to work on a simple routine to manage your energy, and you need to start planning and executing on objectives. I have never seen the power of intention, planning and execution work so well in my life as it has the last month. I’ll definitely been looking for new ways to share this process with you into next month as well, but for now- let’s take a look at all the wonderful content I created for you in March-in case you missed it-  so you can catch up!

A Daily Manifestation Journaling Practice that Works!

Hello My Charmed Ones!

If you’ve been following me for a while, you might remember that I had been struggling for a while to establish a daily journaling practice. There is something about journaling that just seems to go hand in hand with the planning community, and knowing how beneficial journaling can be for your mental health and motivation, I was determined to establish the habit for myself.

Let’s talk about the the benefits of establishing a journaling practice first. There is actually a lot of great research that shows how journaling and the act of writing things down by hand affects your mood, stress and even your success. Gratitude journaling specifically has been shown to create a 10% increase in happiness for those who establish a daily practice. Writing down your thoughts in a brain dump or stream of consciousness style is shown to make you feel more productive and in control, relieving anxiety in a significant portion of people. Research has even shown that people who regularly write down their goals and intentions have a 42% increased chance of achieving what they set out to do. More studies into success and visualization show that those who mentally practice their actions ahead of time, even by scripting out actions or situations in written form, have better results than those who go into a situation cold. In many different ways, unpacking your thoughts onto paper and getting into alignment with them is a key to personal happiness and success, and in many ways is a precursor to creating and executing on a successful plan. So, for those reasons and more, I was personally very interested in establishing a daily journaling practice for myself!

My first real success with a daily journaling practice came from my weekly gratitude inserts that I designed to be a quick and easy way to get myself into the habit of daily reflection. The idea behind those inserts was that I would list something I was grateful for each day and set an intention for myself for the week. This was a practice that took mere minutes a day to establish thanks to my convenient design, and it certainly helped me to establish an easy daily gratitude routine. They say people who perform a daily gratitude practice are 10% happier, an oddly specific number, but each day I completed my line of gratitude I could feel a shift in my mindset. Check the box, it was working and I could feel it.

But, eventually, I yearned for more. I didn’t want to loose my daily gratitude practice, of course, but I wanted to add to it and enhance it. After reading The Artist’s Way and learning about the concept of morning pages, a daily journaling practice where you write stream of consciousness style everything you are holding onto in your mind when you wake up, I began to feel like spending a bit more time on my journaling could really help get my mind right for the day. In The Artist’s Way, the author, Julia Cameron suggests that your morning pages practice should be three pages long, but for me, three pages was extremely daunting. I found that my pages became incredibly repetitive and lacked any real direction or substance, as I would force myself to write within a reasonable span on time so I could check the box, feel the benefit and move on with my day.

That’s when I decided to again design my own practice where I could blend the known benefits of journaling with the convenience of a more strategic practice. After all, I was journaling to help me become a better me, to get clear on my intentions for what I wanted to achieve and to set my vibration for the day to one of gratitude. I didn’t need three blank pages to do this, I just needed a bit of structure. So, I set out in designing the High Vibe Bible, the 90 Day Manifestation Journal to Raise Your Vibration and Manifest Your Desires.

The High Vibe Bible is unlike any other guided journaling experience I have ever come across. Most guided journals ask you too many questions each day, or are designed like fill in the blank word puzzles that don’t give you the true experience of journaling.
