HIGH VIBE GARDEN PARTY SOUNDTRACK FOR RELAXATION, SELF-CARE & YOUR AM ROUTINE

High Vibe Garden Party Soundtrack for Relaxation, Self-Care & Your AM Routine

I have a new productivity resource I’d like to share with you!

This past weekend on Youtube, I published a lovely soundtrack of classical music with a nature ambience that is perfect for you to play if you need to relax, do some much needed self-care, perform your morning routine and do some quiet reading or journaling.

I call it the High Vibe Garden Party because that is the energy I get from the music and ambience I’ve layered together in this soundtrack. Click here to listen to the soundtrack now!

Music has such a powerful effect on our minds, our bodies and our productivity, because it can very quickly shift us into feeling a specific way. So, do yourself a favor and use this soundtrack this week as the background music to your life to start leaning into a more relaxed an intentional energy.

I’m going to be creating more of these soundtracks this month to help support the energy you need to embody at specific points in your day, so I sincerely hope you enjoy them!

CEO Vibes Playlist: For the Inspired, Aligned, Abundant & Spiritual #BOSS

Hello My Charmed Ones!

Today, I’m sharing my latest musical obsession, the CEO Vibes Playlist!

This was a playlist I created a few weeks ago for my at-home CEO Retreat where I gave myself a full day to work on some high level business strategy and messaging for my business.

Of course, important CEO level work for your business requires the right tunes to keep you focused on inspired, and that is how the CEO Vibes Playlist was born!

I chose a variety of my favorite songs for this playlist. Tunes that really inspire and elevate my mindset. Music that puts me into alignment with my ideas and abundance. Many of these songs speak to me on a very spiritual level as well, but of course, I had to throw in some good pump you up style hip-hop and rap as well!

You can listen to the CEO Vibes Playlist over on Spotify, but I’m including the playlist linked below as well!

If you do use Spotify, make sure to follow me on the app and follow the playlist because I’m sure I will be adding some new songs to it in the future!

I hope you enjoy this productivity playlist!

5 Lofi Christmas Playlists I’ve Been Loving

Hello My Charmed Ones!

I hope you’ve had a wonderful and merry December thus far!

One of my favorite workday productivity tips is to listen to music while you work. Since many of us have been working from home this year due to the pandemic, I am sure things have started to feel monotonous and we could use a little holiday cheer right about now to perk ourselves up.

Since December 1st, I traded in my usual all-season lofi playlists for some Christmas and Winter themed beats instead and I’ve been loving listening to them this month. They have done a lot to keep me excited for the holiday’s even though I accept that things are going to be different this year.

Of course, I wanted to share them with you, so this post is going to be a roundup of my favorite 5 playlists within the Christmas, Holiday and Winter theme.

Lofi Christmas Playlist #1: Holiday mood 🎄 [study/sleep/homework music]

Lofi Christmas Playlist #2: Cozy Christmas Beats 🎄 Lofi Hiphop Mix

Lofi Christmas Playlist #3: 🎅 a lofi christmas mix

Lofi Christmas Playlist #4: Merry Christmas 🎄 Cozy Lofi Christmas Beats

Lofi Christmas Playlist #5: ❄️ Chillhop Essentials Winter 2020 [cozy lofi hiphop instrumentals] ❄️

I hope you enjoy this selection of Lofi Christmas tunes and that they help you find some joy and productivity in your workday this month.

MissTrenchcoat’s Lo-Fi Office Vibes {Productivity Playlist August 2020}

Hello My Charmed Ones!

It’s been ages since I posted my last productivity playlist here on the blog, so let me quickly reintroduce the series for those of you who might be new or completely forgot about it!

Productivity Playlist is a series here on StrangeCharmed.com where I share a playlist of music I have been listening to while I work. Research shows that listening to music, specifically music without lyrics, can help increase your productivity by providing white noise as a background sound to drown out other random noise. For this reason, classical music is often touted as a brain and productivity booster, but it’s not the only option. So, from time to time I like to share a collection of music that I have been listening to in order to give you some new beats to help you whistle while you work!

In this fresh installment, I am sharing a new musical obsession with you, Lo-fi hip-hop. Don’t let the hip-hop term fool you, it’s nothing close to what you might be thinking. It’s just seriously some of the most chill and good work vibe music I have come across. No lyrics, just music and the occasional vague echo of a voice. So, without further ado, here is the playlist for you to enjoy.

I hope you enjoy this playlist and I would love to hear about what you have been listening to while you work, so please do leave me a comment and tell me about it!

My Entrepreneur Spring Break Playlist {March 2017 Productivity Playlist}

Entrepreneur Spring Break Playlist

My Entrepreneur Spring Break Playlist {March 2017 Productivity Playlist}

I don’t think I mentioned this, but yesterday was my birthday (yay for me!) and I’ve decided that I am taking the rest of March as my own personal business Spring Break! I always remember in college that my spring break fell around my birthday which was awesome, but ever since then, I’ve failed to really take time off to rest and relax during this pivotal time of year for myself. Well, now that the launch of Empire Building is done, I’ve cleared my schedule and plan to spend a dedicated amount of time focusing on myself and my personal interests. I’m not going to pull back 100% from my business, but I do want to devote most of the hours of the day to doing my own thing. I’m not entirely sure how my days will be spent, but I can say that I really want to focus on meditation, physical activity and reading. I also have some personal home projects I want to accomplish, like organizing and decluttering some spaces that have been neglected. I’m thinking a life purge is in order and I’m looking forward to doing some spring cleaning and letting go of the old to make room for the new!

Of course, I’ll need some great tunes to listen to while I work on these projects, so today I’m sharing my Entrepreneur Spring Break Playlist with some of the songs I’ve been loving lately that seem to always empower me to get up and moving!

I hope you have a wonderful week and enjoy this playlist! Even though you may not be able to take a Spring Break, I’d love to know how you’d spend some extra personal time and maybe even how you can incorporate some simple activities into your days this week to take advantage of the Spring Break energy in the air! Let me know in the comments!

Do You Experience ASMR? {Productivity Playlist September 2016}

Do You Experience ASMR?

As I recently shared in my weekly email newsletter (sign up here if you aren’t already) I am kind of obsessed with ASMR videos on YouTube. ASMR stands for autonomous sensory meridian response and it is essentially that relaxing, tingling feeling you get down your spine when you hear, feel or see a relaxing trigger. What these triggers are can vary from person to person and not everyone experiences ASMR. If you are someone who gets those chills or tingles when someone brushes or plays with your hair, you are most likely susceptible to it. I am majorly susceptible to it- to the extent that it relaxes me, puts me to sleep and makes me feel euphoric. Now, it just so happens that there is a community of creators on YouTube who make videos for the express purpose of triggering the ASMR response for those who, like me, enjoy it. I’ll be honest, sometimes these videos seem a little odd, they often include lots of soft whispering and even role-play, but I have been using these videos to relax and fall asleep at night. If you have trouble sleeping or relaxing, you may want to check out some of my favorite videos, I will leave some for you here to enjoy. Just a word of advice for you, you should definitely wear headphones while watching, make sure you are in a comfortable seated or lying position, and keep an open mind. Some of the content may seem strange but it’s oddly soothing and if you are someone who experiences ASMR you will know it after one of these videos. Enjoy!

Do you experience ASMR? Let me know how you enjoyed these videos and if you have any others you want to recommend to me, leave me some links as well!

Classical Favorites To Boost Your Productivity {My Productivity Playlist August 2016}

Classical Favorites to Help You Boost Your Productivity!

I cannot believe that for all the time that I have been creating productivity playlists for you, that I have not created a playlist of my favorite classical tunes. Well, this is the perfect month to share them because in case you missed my YouTube video from the other week, I am focusing on Fall prep this month and nothing helps me get down to work like classical music. It’s serious, stern and flips a mental switch in my brain that says GET TO WORK! Now, I know classical music isn’t everyones cup of tea, but I want to challenge you to expand your mind on this one and one day when you go to work, I want you to turn on this playlist and see if it doesn’t make you a little more productive and focused. I bet it does and you may even have a productivity breakthrough while listening, so give it a go.

I hope you enjoyed this months installment of my productivity playlist. If you gave this playlist a try and found it to be helpful as you worked, please let me know about it in the comments. And if you have your own classical music playlist that you rely on, please share it as well, because I think we can all use a little more focus at work!

Binge Worthy Podcasts I’ve Been Loving! {Productivity Playlist June 2016}

Binge Worthy Podcasts I've Been Loving

Binge Worthy Podcasts I’ve Been Loving!

Welcome back to Strange & Charmed for another installment of my Productivity Playlist series!

I feel like I go through phases with podcasts. Although I subscribe to a bunch that I like, I don’t always listen to new episodes unless I’m in the mood and I tend to be a person who prefers to binge listen to multiple episodes in one sitting. I end up training myself for delayed gratification by waiting weeks to catch up on a podcast I enjoy- weird but true (this is why I love Netflix series’ so much… binge much?!?) But a few weeks ago I shared on a YouTube video a podcast I had been loving and asked for you to leave me suggestions for more podcasts to listen to and ever since I have been on a full on podcast binge! So for today’s installment of my productivity playlist I want to share some of the podcasts I’ve been loving lately! Now, just a warning, most of these aren’t your run of the mill podcasts, these are actually all serialized docu-dramas where a story (true or fiction) is told week by week. If you love listening to books on tape like me, I think you’ll love these suggestions if they are in your genre.

Serial

https://serialpodcast.org

  • You’ve probably already heard about Serial, the incredibly popular and highly controversial podcast that is currently in it’s second season. This is one of the few true story podcasts on this list and blends reporting with great story telling. If you like true crime drama, this is for you!

Lore

http://www.lorepodcast.com

  • Less of a serialized doc-drama, Lore is a story based podcast that takes our popular myths and legends of the paranormal, horrific or supernatural and breaks them down into the stories that started them. “Sometimes the truth is more frightening than fiction,” as they say, and this is the concept that Lore is built around.

Limetown

http://www.limetownstories.com

  • Right now Limetown is a single season serial doc-drama that tells the fictional story of a girl looking for answers about a lost town she has loose ties to. Of course, things get creepy when she digs in deep. I so wish there was a second season of this podcast!

Tanis

http://www.tanispodcast.com

  • Now we’re getting into some seriously creepy, may keep you up at night podcasts. Another fictional serialized docu-drama about uncovering an unknown supernatural phenomenon called Tanis. So far the story isn’t creep in a traditional supernatural way, it’s more about fear of the unknown and questioning reality.

The Black Tapes Podcast

http://theblacktapespodcast.com

  • Beware, for me this podcast is probably the most frightening of all even though I know it’s another fictional serialized docu-drama, it covers the realm of the paranormal and is like listening to a scary ghost movie. Actually, it’s like listening to multiple scary ghost movies at once because this story isn’t just one ghost story, it’s many built into one.

We’re Alive

http://www.werealive.com

  • If you are a fan of The Walking Dead, you will love this podcast that is actually in numerous seasons with a ton of episodes perfect for binge-ing! It’s essentially an internet radio version of every zombie apocalypse show ever but without a lot of the unnecessary drama and character development most zombie shows suffer from. Great to listen to if you love zombies, and it’s more entertaining than frightening!

The Message

http://themessagepodcast.com

  • File the message under creepy alien related fictional docu-drama! This one literally kept me up at night, first to listen to because it was so well produced, and second because I was just that scared of the dark during and after listening!

I hope you enjoyed these podcast recommendations. I realize these are mostly a certainly type of podcast, mainly fiction for entertainment purposes which goes against the grain of things I usually share on this blog, but they have been what I’m loving so I thought it was worth it to share with you! I hope you find something new to listen to and if these podcasts aren’t for you, I hope to continue to share podcast recommendations with you, so don’t worry, this is not the end! Let me know in the comments what podcasts you have been loving and I’d greatly appreciate it!
